Goldielocks

This girl just came to us in an established flock of a dozen chickens.  Her prior owner reports she is an Americauna/Auracauna (sp?) adult hen but I am unsure of this and know nothing else of her breed.  She's an average-sized bird of average weight, weighing at least 4-5 pounds. I'm not sure of "Goldielocks'" age but believe she is an adult and I'm guessing she's probably at least 2 years old???

She is a beautiful golden brown color and she appears to be difficult to aatisfy, constantly changing positions when starting to roost or vying for a spot at the treat pan. She seems to need to have things "just right". This is likely an issue of her rank in the flock. This hen appears to be near the bottom of the pecking order although she is in good condition. Even the littlest bantam/banty hen, Sugarcakes, dominates her and chases her off the treat pan or other areas.

This bird tolerates some gentle human contact when setting somewhere easily reached, but she is fairly nervous and will squawk quietly and leave if bothered just a little too much. She will not stand easily to be caught but she is still fairly easy to catch when in a confined area.

I am uncertain as to whether or not this hen is laying.
